Pets are generally loving and caring and more importantly they wish to have greater attention from their masters. Be it an animal or bird, this intention is common for both and strive to make every move to capture their master’s notice. While the dogs get their master’s observance by its different way of barking, the cats achieve its task by purring near its mistress and rubbing itself over her arms or legs.

The parrot screech so loudly that it might want its master to have a look at its any of the newly inculcated skill. The rabbits too, love attention and show a sort of rapid movement to capture the scene. On the whole, each and every pet wants to be the center of attraction and has its own unique style in exhibiting the same!

Speaking about the pet parrots, these are the cutest little creatures that act as our best friend when in loneliness. As they could be taught and made to speak just like humans, it makes the time spent with it very interesting that we do not feel the passage of time!

In general, parrots love freedom, but because some of them are clever enough to head to the sky soon after the cage is opened, it is advised to keep these scholars behind the bars always! Many have the notion that parrots are perfect vegetarians but there do exist certain breeds of parrots that do not mind to have a little bit of meat. The Golden-winged Parakeets and New Zealand Kees are some of the worth mentioning.

The most lovable and loyal pet dog has so many amazing and amusing facts to be learnt about! Dogs were worshipped by Egyptians that when a dog dies, its owner shaves off his eyebrows and would lament aloud for days! The dogs have sweat glands in their paws.

As these are not adequate to remove off the excess water in their body, one could see a dog always with its tongue dripping out! Do you know that the shape of the dog determines as how long it would live? While those dogs with longer faces like country bred, Dalmatians have longevity of life some other breeds like bull dogs that have shorter faces have restricted period of life. Beware! Apple and Pear seeds that have Arsenic are very deadly for dogs!

Pets are the most adorable creations of God! They save us from loneliness, make us feel happy, we get the feel as if someone is there living for us, and in some cases they even act as our guides and philosophers too. Pondering about each pet, they have some message to say to us. While the dog speaks in volumes about faithfulness, the cats teach us as what love and closeness is.

The rabbits teach us to be active and silent always, while the lovebirds want us to be cheerful at all circumstances. The fish takes us into a new world of imagination thus expanding our creative horizons. In the similar way, each pet inculcate so many values in us that even the mortal human beings fail to do!

Cats are the cutest creatures and when they are petted, they will show even more love and affection than expected! What is more seen in them is their custom that craves for attention. You pet cat will do just anything to steal your attention and when it wins in its attitude no doubt, your cat will show signs of happiness!

In addition, what could be seen more of them are their possessiveness. They want you to be their sole company at play, admire them and to be true, they want their own things like the bowl they eat and drink too! Always keep it in mind that cats are very neat animals that they take deliberate efforts to keep themselves perfect, neat and tidy!

Another characteristic, linked with a wide range of colors, is the crested mutation. The crest itself should be even in size and circular in shape, being located just in front of the ears. In the case of the English crested mutation, the crest matches that of the surrounding fur, but it is always white in the case of the American crested.

When combined with the texel, the crested has given rise to the form known as the alpaca. A family of tortoiseshell and white rex guinea pigs. Note the favored white blaze extending down the nose between the eyes, individual markings are variable.

The first sign of a cat’s pregnancy will probably not be a noticeable and it will increase in abdominal size but a demand for more food. If the queen is in good condition, she should not need extra food until about the last third of the pregnancy.

By this time the fetuses will be growing in the womb and space is at a premium, so the cat needs, frequent small meals, up to four times daily. The total quantity should only be increased by about one thirds. Top quality, nourishing food of low bulk is of special important at this time.

The Collies and various British sheepdogs have historically had a herding role. Their functions are to keep the sheep flock under control at the behest of the shepherd. They circle, help move the sheep and bring strays buck into the flock.  Their response is to the shepherd, not the sheep. This type of herding work depends on a carefully controlled attack by the dog, which runs in almost to nip the heels of the sheep, pushing it away in the direction that the shepherd calls for. Despite the shepherd’s handling, the dog lean more from the parents than from any other source.

If a cat that is normally calm and well-behaved suddenly starts to scratch and bite, it may be ill, bored or frightened, and the underlying causes should be addressed. It is important to train a kitten from the beginning that aggressive behavior is unacceptable even in play. A firm no, immediate cessation of play and a light trap on the nose whenever it bites or scratches should correct this behavior.

Do remember that a cat likes its independence, and if you impose your attention on it when it does not want them – for example, if it is asleep – it may react instinctively by attacking you. Scratching is fun from the kitten, but does not do the soft furnishings much good. Provision of a scratching post and a little training should solve the problems. Play with your kitten as often as you can to ensure it gets enough exercise and attention, or its boredom could turn to destructive tendencies.

When a cat is inclined to do and when it can do are quite different. By nature and inclination, for example, cats move gracefully, daintily and sedately, yet their bodies are designed for speed and movement. When establishing a relationship with your cat, bear in mind that it will do what you ask not because it considers you dominant, but because it feels inclined to do so. A well balanced cat is used to being handled by its owner, and is alert, independent and inquisitive.

If a cat is timid, dependent and constantly seeking attention it may have suffered misuse or lack of socialization when it was young i.e. 6 to 16 weeks.  Some cats chitter and salivate in anticipation or excitement when they catch sight of something to hunt. Strained, high-intensity yowls are reserved for inter-cat communication and are especially noticeable in a female on heat.
